Turkish police used water cannon and pepper spray to disperse a protest in Ankara on Sunday. The demonstrators protested against the detainment of two Turkish teachers, academic Nuriye Gulmen and teacher Semih Ozakca, which happened in May. Terrorism charges were brought against the two men, who went on hunger strike due to losing their jobs under an emergency decree. Dozens of people were detained by the police.
