Chinese naval ships enter Russian Baltic Sea port ahead of joint drills

Chinese naval ships entered the Russian sea port of Baltiysk Friday, marking the first stage of the ‘Joint Sea 2017’ drills of the Russian and Chinese naval forces, with the active phase commencing on July 24. Vessels representing China include the Changsha missile destroyer, the Yuncheng missile frigate and the Luoma Lake comprehensive supply ship.
