Hundreds of people gathered in Genoa, Italy to protest the inauguration of the far-right CasaPound movement’s new headquarters, which replaces its previous location in Rome. CasaPound is an Italian political movement founded in 2003. It is named after US poet Ezra Pound, a supporter of Mussolini’s fascist regime. The movement is famous for having anti-immigrant views. It recently protested a bill that would grant citizenship to second-generation immigrants born in Italy.
