NATO forces hold joint military drills with East European troops in Romania

NATO’s Platinum Eagle 17.2 exercise was held in Romania’s Babadag military drills base on Friday. Around 600 soldiers from seven countries (Romania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Canada, Montenegro, Ukraine and the United States) participated in joint exercises focused on ammunition, first aid in combat, training commands and sub-unit control procedures. The joint military drills started on April 24 and will continue until May 4.
