Zookeepers at the Oakland Zoo in California give round-the-clock care and attention to a baby wallaroo that lost his mother on March 1. The 5-month-old joey was filmed on Friday while his caretakers were bottle-feeding him. He will stay with the zookeepers until he is able to live independently, which is expected to be in about 3 months, when he is to be moved to the Zoo’s ‘Wild Australia’ exhibit. Wallaroos belong to the kangaroo family and are bigger than wallabies, but smaller than kangaroos.
