Dozens of demonstrators gathered in Tokyo on Sunday, to protest Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's alleged links to an ultra-nationalist private schooling company. The rioters opposed the school's attempts to stimulate national pride in its pupils, who visit military bases for school trips and sing the national anthem every morning.
The protest also decried the approval of a change to the ruling party's rules that could allow Abe to run for a third three-year term.
