More than 3,800 flights have been canceled across the northeastern region of America, including Boston and Philadelphia. New York City is predicted to get eight to 12 inches of snow by the end of the day. Flights into and out of New York’s three main airports in, Newark, La Guardia, and JFK, were severely disrupted and public schools were closed when a snowstorm hit the area on Thursday.
