Thousands of people took to the streets of Washington DC on Friday for the 44th annual ‘March for Life’ anti-abortion protest. People carried banners reading “Stop Abortion Now” and “The Spirit of Whoredom is in your midst,” while marching from the National Mall to the US Supreme Court. Newly-appointed Vice-President Mike Pence and Kellyanne Conway, a counselor to the US president, attended the protest personally, while Trump supported activists via Twitter.

The annual ‘March for Life’ anti-abortion rally has been held since 1974 on or around the anniversary of the United States Supreme Court’s decision that legalized abortions.
