First aviation drills of 2017 held in Russia

Russian Mi-28N, Mi-35M and Mi-8AMTSh military helicopters took part in the first aviation drills of the year in the Krasnodar region in Russia’s south on January 14. Crews of the 28N 'Night Hunter', 35M ‘Crocodile’ and AMTSh ‘Terminator,’ destroyed an armoured column of a simulated enemy targets during the exercises. The military practiced airstrikes on around 40 simulated ground targets using up to 200 different types of ammunition, including unguided rockets and cannon weapons.
