Anti-police brutality activists marched through the streets of Oakland, California, on Monday, as Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations kicked off. Around 1,000 demonstrators protested against police violence and US President-elect Donald Trump's upcoming inauguration. According to the authorities, no violent incidents were reported and the march passed off peacefully.
