The Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, along with with thousands of supporters, staged a 'March of Resistance' in Buenos Aires, criticising current president Mauricio Macri's austerity policies and his actions to devalue the peso which has been resulting in inflation and job losses. The Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo is an association of mothers whose children "disappeared" during the military dictatorship between 1976 and 1983. The march, which became the second under president Mauricio Macri, was organised under the slogan "Solidarity and struggle against hunger and repression."
