White supremacist group the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan paraded in a cavalcade of cars through Roxboro, North Carolina, sparking a series of counter-demonstrations across the state on Saturday. The far-right group put Confederate flags on their cars and shouted "White power!" while the convoy of 20 cars was driving through the city to celebrate the victory of President-elect Donald Trump. At the same time, dozens of anti-Trump and anti-KKK protesters gathered in Danville, shouting "Who's streets? Our streets!" and "No hate, no fear, no KKK welcome here!". Similar counter-rallies drew hundreds in other cities of the state, including Albany, Charlotte and Pelham.
