Around 200 far-right activists marched through the center of Kiev on Thursday. The demonstrators, including members of the radical nationalist Right Sector group and the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), held flags and started fires to demand freedom for political prisoners. Last week, Right Sector protesters prevented former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich from giving testimony in relation to the killings of Maidan protesters in 2014. The activists of the nationalist movement blocked Ukrainian special police force defendants from leaving a pre-trial detention center.
