One of the Europe’s biggest skating rinks opened on Thursday at Moscow’s Gorky Park, where 18,000 square meters (193,750 square feet) of the pathways are now covered with artificial ice. The winter attraction boasts an eight-meter high ‘frozen’ fountain as well as illuminated tunnels, alleys, and colorfully lit ice. The ice rink can accommodate about 4,000 skaters at the same time.
