Police clashed with activists from the Ukrainian far-right party Svoboda on the streets Kiev on Wednesday, as around 30 people demonstrated against a music act which also performs in Russia. The protesters tried to keep fans from entering the concert hall and threw eggs at them, while some activists tried to break through police barriers. One man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and a child suffered from tear gas poisoning. The protesters decry the duet of Nastya Kamenskykh and Aleksey Potapenko (also known as Potap) as well as some other Ukrainian singers for performing in Russia. The act has already had to cancel several concerts in Ukrainian cities because of possible aggression from radical factions.
