Russia: Moscow celebrates Unity Day

According to police estimates, some 80,000 Muscovites took part in a march dubbed, ‘We are United,’ to commemorate Unity Day, which was made a national public holiday in 2005. Famous people, among them politicians and singers, сongratulated Muscovites on the holiday, which marks the events of 1612 when Moscow was liberated from Polish occupation.
