Scores of people joined a demonstration in London on Saturday, demanding that the UK government help refugees stranded at Calais. The protesters called for an amendment, which would allow unaccompanied minors legal asylum in the UK. The notorious French ‘Jungle’ camp currently houses between 7,000 and 10,000 people, mostly seeking a way to get to the UK to claim asylum there.
