Hundreds of thousands of believers gathered at St. Peter's Square in the Vatican City on Sunday, as Pope Francis presided over Holy Mass and the canonization of Mother Teresa. Blessed Teresa of Calcutta was born in Macedonia in 1910. She founded the Missionaries of Charity religious congregation, which is made up of nearly 4,000 nuns and runs hundreds of shelters, clinics and orphanages around the world.
