More than 1,000 protesters gathered in the center of Bratislava on Monday, demanding the resignation of Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico and Interior Minister Robert Kalinak following a fraud scandal. Protesters marched towards the Bonaparte complex, where Fico and Kalinak both have apartments, and held an unauthorized demonstration outside, holding placards and wearing T-shirts reading “Fico protests thieves.”

Opposition leaders who organized the protest claim that Fico and Kalinak have ties with Ladislav Basternak, who faces accusations of using misappropriated state funds for building the luxurious housing complex.
