Soyuz delivers Expedition 48-49 to ISS

Expedition 48-49, carrying Russian space agency Roscosmos cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin, NASA astronaut Kate Rubins and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Takuya Onishi, docked at the International Space Station (ISS) on Saturday.

The trio was launched on an upgraded MS-01 Soyuz spacecraft from Baikonur Cosmodrome on July 7. On Saturday, after docking at the space station's Rassvet module, the new arrivals were greeted by Expedition 48 members.
