Around 300 protesters from the Bolivian Workers’ Centre (COB) clashed with police in Cochabamba when they held a demonstration to protest the dismissal of around 900 workers from a state-owned textile company called Enatex. Police deployed tear gas after some protesters attempted to blockade the city’s main street.
