Lavrov plays in final stage of People’s Football League

The first all-Russian People’s Football League was held at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, with many famous Russian politicians, musicians and sportsmen, having taken part in the final match. Among them was Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, number 7, who scored the second goal for his team, which ultimately bagged a 3:1 win.

The People’s Football League was formed as an amateur-only tournament for players over 45 years old.
