At least three people were injured and around 40 were arrested in violent clashes between workers of a Bolivian state company and riot police in La Paz, Wednesday. Riot police fired tear gas at hundreds of protesters, who took to the streets to decry losing their jobs after the closure of Enatex, the largest state-run textile company in Bolivia. Around 800 employees are reported to have lost their jobs.
