More than 5,000 people rallied for Catalan independence in Barcelona on Saturday. The rally was led by the pro-independence party Popular Unity Candidacy (CUP). Under the motto “No Fear,” protesters carried banners with slogans such as "No to state repression, disobedience, unilateral referendum," and "Neither state repression nor fortress Europe. We fight for the Catalan Republic," while waving Estelada flags.
