Hundreds of people gathered in Stratford-Upon-Avon to mark the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare.
Speeches were given and a march was held in honor of England’s most famous playwright. People flocked in from all over the country to take part in the celebration, where masks of Shakespeare’s face were handed out among the crowd.
Shakespeare was born in Stratford-Upon-Avon in 1564 and returned to the market town after retiring. He died on April 23, 1616.
