More than 6,500 protesters marched through Skopje with flags and firecrackers on Tuesday. The crowds decried the constitutional court's decision to allow the president to pardon politicians accused of electoral fraud. The march ended outside the Constitutional Court, where protesters held a symbolic vigil for the constitution. Riot police barricaded the streets leading to the court building to prevent clashes between government supporters and protesters.
