The Russian Black Sea fleet held search and rescue drills in the Black Sea, near Sevastopol on Monday. During the exercise 10 different ships, an AN-26 airplane and a KA-26PS helicopter performed a search operation. Cutting edge submarine, the Novorossiysk, played the role of a wrecked vessel. After an SOS signal, rescue powerboats and the Kommuna, equipped with a device enabling it to rescue submarine crews from the bottom of the sea, arrived at the incident.
