Russian military tests new infantry combat system

Russian paratroopers took part in drills to test the latest equipment, machines and weapons in the Russian city of Pskov, near the Russian-Estonian border, on Wednesday. The troops tried out the new ‘Ratnik’ infantry combat system as well as the new automated ‘Andromeda-D’ communication system. Military vehicles including armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles were also involved in the training exercises.
