At least 2,000 protesters set fire to cars and tires in Port-au-Prince on Monday, demanding the suspension of a presidential election run-off set for January 24 after allegations of irregularities and corruption. The crowd smashed windows of governmental buildings, and burned tires and several vehicles during the rally.
