St. Petersburg takes icy plunge on Epiphany

Brave Orthodox believers celebrated Epiphany by plunging into icy water near St. Petersburg's prominent Paul fortress on the Neva River, early Tuesday morning. The temperatures outside were around -15°C (5°F), but that didn’t stop the believers following the long-held Orthodox tradition.
