Evangelical church in Aleppo reopened for Christmas after ISIS attack

The community of an evangelical church in Aleppo held a mass on Saturday celebrating Christmas as well as the rebuilding of the church, after it had been severely damaged in an attack by Islamic State.

According to the head of the Arab Evangelical Church Ibrahim Naseer, the Christian community have faith that peace will return to Syria, and are sure of "the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army, in the decisions of the wise leadership of our country, on top of it Bashar Hafez al-Assad."
