Thousands of activists took to the streets of Buenos Aires on Wednesday to protest against violence towards women. Protesters dressed up as victims of gender-related violence and marched under the slogan ‘NotOneLess’.
The ‘NotOneLess’ campaign refers to the calls for Argentina to eradicate violence against women, with the campaign demanding that “not one more victim be lost” to the problem. According to statistics compiled by feminist groups in the Latin American country, around 1,800 women have lost their lives in Argentina due to gender-related violence since 2008.
