Activists gathered ahead of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi's meeting with British PM David Cameron in London on Thursday. Some 200 anti-Sisi protesters blocked the entrance to Downing Street, where the meeting between the two leaders was set to be held. However, they were outnumbered by supporters of Sisi, who carried "Welcome" banners. Police had to intervene and arrested at least three people.

The two leaders are expected to discuss a range of security issues, including Saturday's Russian flight 7K9268 crash in the Sinai Peninsula, which has resulted in Britain suspending flights to and from the Red Sea region.
