Popocatepetl volcano throws 2km of steam & ash into the sky

Mexico's Popocatepetl volcano sent a cloud as high up as 2,500 meters on Wednesday. Civil protection authorities said the cloud was mostly a mixture of vapor and low ash content. Popocatepetl began showing increased activity on Tuesday at 16:00 local time (2100 GMT) when it began emitting a constant stream of water, gas and ash.
