Ruptly drone footage shows a temporary bridge between the Russian mainland and Tuzla Island in the Kerch Strait. The bridge, opened on Friday, marked a major first step in connecting Crimea to Russia. The first part of the bridge spans 1,207 meters with 58 pillars placed at depths varying from 35 to 56 meters. Some 4,000 workers from Krasnodar and 150 more from Crimea are involved in the construction of the bridge. The temporary construction is one of three aimed at enabling traffic between the peninsula and mainland Russia, until a permanent structure is erected.
