A man died after clashes erupted outside a court in Caracas, Thursday, where the trial of Leopoldo Lopez was taking place. The scuffles broke out between two rival groups of pro-government supporters and supporters of the prominent opposition leader and his Popular Will party. The anti-Lopez demonstrators burned several posters and orange flags of his party, chanting slogans in support of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. The dissident was sentenced to more than 13 years in prison late on Thursday for inciting violence during protests in 2014.
