A vigil for the journalists shot dead during a live broadcast was held in Roanoke, Virginia on Wednesday night. Families, friends, and colleagues came together to light candles in honor of the victims. Alison Parker, a 24-year-old reporter at WDBJ, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, were killed when a gunman, later identified as Vester Lee Flanagan, opened fire on them during a live news report from a Virginia shopping center on Wednesday morning.
