More than a thousand people took to the streets of Berlin on Monday to show their solidarity with victims of the attack in the Turkish town of Suruc. Dozens were killed there earlier in the day. Activists marched wielding the Flag of Rojava and placards critical of current Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. At least 30 people were killed and 100 injured in an explosion that hit a cultural center in Suruc. The town is near the Syrian border in southeastern Turkey.
