Coast guard cleans beaches after California oil spill

Coast guard crews continued to clean up around 100,000 gallons of crude oil that polluted the ocean near Santa Barbara, California on Thursday after it leaked from a ruptured pipeline two days earlier. A state of emergency was declared after the spill, the biggest in the area since 1969.
