Hundreds call for marijuana legalization in Brazil

Hundreds of activists took part in an annual march in the Brazilian capital on Saturday, demanding the legalization of marijuana. Holding posters that read, “War kills, marijuana heals," and dancing samba along the Ipanema beach avenue, people called for legalization of home-grown marijuana and for the release of arrested cannabis farmers. Brazil has recently legalized the use of cannabidiol for medical purposes, but it needs to be imported and many people can't afford it because of its high price.
