A concert in honor of the 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany took place in Moscow's Red Square on Saturday. Russian President Vladimir Putin, together with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, as well as other honored foreign guests and veterans, attended the large-scale performance, which commemorated the main events of the war. More than 9,000 people representing dozens of professional artistic groups, children's ensembles, ballet troupes, stunt groups and choirs participated in the festive concert on Red Square. Almost 3,000 flags, more than 5,000 costumes and real military vehicles, including the legendary T-34 tanks, were used to re-enact the atmosphere of the war years 1941-45.
