Peruvian musicians broke their own record for the largest Cajon ensemble, gathering over 2,420 musicians to play together in Lima on Saturday. Three years ago, 1,477 cajoneros gathered at the Main Square of Lima (Plaza de Armas) making it the highest number for the event. This year the event was dedicated to Rafael Santa Cruz, the cajonero who founded the project and passed away in August 2014.
