About 100 protesters tried to impede Klaus Rosler, director of Operations Division of the European Union's border agency Frontex, attending an event at the Schwarzkopf foundation in Berlin on Wednesday. The crowd threw bottles and shouted while he was making his way to the entrance, escorted by the police. The demonstrators' attempt to storm the entrance was faced by police, who used paper spray. Frontex, the European Agency for the Management of the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union, came under fire again after over 900 migrants died trying to cross to Europe on an overcrowded boat on April 19.
