Stunning time-lapse footage captures sleeping Europe from space

This spectacular time-lapse footage from International Space Station (ISS) Expedition 43, released on Thursday, captures a sleeping Europe from space, all the way from Portugal to Poland. Expedition 43 started on 11 March, 2015 with the undocking of the Soyuz TMA-14M from the ISS. The flight has six crew members: three from the Russian Federal Space Agency (RSA), two from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and one from the ESA (European Space Agency).
