Drone footage of aftermath of massive grassland fires in Siberia

The massive fires that swept through nearly 60 villages and towns in the Russian Republic of Khakassia in southern Siberia have left 23 people dead, and more than 900 injured, according to an official committee investigating the tragedy.

More than 1,400 homes were destroyed in the fire, leaving some 6,000 people homeless, according to regional governor Viktor Zimin. Those who suffered severe injuries from the fire were transferred to Krasnoyarsk for treatment.
