Six huge blazing wheels rolled down a hill during the celebration of a 3000-year-old pagan ritual called 'Osterraederlauf' on the outskirts of Luegde, Germany on Sunday. Every year, six huge wooden wheels, 1.7 meters in diameter and weighing 270 kilograms, are stuffed with straw and set alight. Thousands flock to watch the show. According to Germanic pagan tradition, the wheels are meant to bless farmers with good luck for the season's crops.
