Costa Rica's Turrialba Volcano erupts

Costa Rica's Turrialba Volcano erupted Thursday, belching plumes of smoke, ash and gas that reportedly reached the capital, San Jose. The 10,958-feet (3,340-meter) tall volcano is situated approximately 40 miles (65 kilometers) east of the capital San Jose. Back in October ashes from Turrialba’s eruption covered the capital after the volcano spewed magma for the first time since 1863.
