Protesters rally against police brutality in Los Angeles

A large group of protesters gathered outside the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Headquarters on Tuesday after footage of police shooting and killing an unarmed homeless man went viral. The protest began in Downtown Los Angeles' Skid Row at the site were the unidentified man, known only by his street name of 'Africa', was killed and continued to the LAPD HQ where a 'die-in' was held. Protesters carried signs and chanted songs connected to the Black Lives Matter campaign. An investigation is underway to determine whether excessive force was used by the police.
