Thousands gathered in Copenhagen for a torch-lit vigil on Monday to honour the victims of two shootings that took place in the Danish capital over the weekend. The large crowd held flaming torches near the site of the first attack at Krudttoenden cafe in northern Copenhagen.

Two people were killed in the weekend attacks, including a Danish filmmaker attending a free speech debate and a Jewish security guard shot in the head outside a synagogue. Five police officers were wounded in the attacks.
