Dozens of Gaza residents attacked a UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) building on Wednesday after the decision to cut funding to the 96,000 refugees who lost their homes in the recent Gaza-Israel conflict. Protesters climbed into the building, ripping tiles from the roof and burning tires. The UNRWA was providing the financial means for the rebuilding of the homes destroyed and damaged in the recent fighting. However the relief agency has suspended the program, citing a cash shortfall.
